A nice complement (and even better) to their first effort of 2010.

Back to ReleaseThe pairing of sparse guitar phrasing and soft, rustling ambience may seem unstructured or sparse at first, but produces deeply moving results, as glimpses of the haunting emotions produced by natural vistas filter into the listener’s mind eye through the muddy lens of the microphone.
The nine tracks vary from totally abstract soundscapes. to melodic ambient. to neo-folk or walls of guitar based sound. An intriguing release.
Sparingly used acoustic instruments and even more economical electronic processing, always very close to silence. Just beautiful.
The sounds are so gorgeous than one thinks less of Greta Thunberg than of bucolic brooks and peaceful trees; sometimes beauty can motivate preservation as much as alarm.
The organic sound of the guitar blends with the electronic filters that emphasize its timbre and voice.
The duo is in sync throughout the duration of the album playing off of each other’s strengths in a way that adds to the inherent dignity they have for their surroundings.
