Rockerilla (IT)

A delicate juxtaposition of elements has always characterized Federico Durand’s minimalist electro-acoustic palette. In this new work, the Argentine artist takes another step in the same direction, temporarily setting aside the conceptual theme of fragile natural ecosystems in favor of a playful, childlike dimension. A vocal melody sung by his daughter also drifts through the gentle sonic constellation of *La Manzana Magica*—a work inspired by a series of Cinderella-themed postage stamps—which is, in turn, graceful and meticulously crafted from a filigree of analog microsounds that gently enchant.
