Review of Wind Dynamic Organ, Deviations [12k2062]

Rockerilla (IT)

In the heart of Bern, where the stone preserves the breath of centuries, Deupree and Zimoun bend the wind into an oblique liturgy under the guidance of the Wind Dynamic Organ, which transforms air into matter, into pressure that caresses and incises, into rustling sounds that thicken like clouds full of harmonic waves. The six Deviations start from the timbre only to discard it, as if the organ’s song were backlit and then subtly distorted. Deupree brings the time, Zimoun the texture: together they transform the sacred into a physical event. Warm, suspended minimalism, the work of a silence that manages to sculpt. A 12k release that renews tradition, entrusting a concrete, earthly mysticism to the friction of the air.
