Sooner or later, Deupree and Durand had to work together. Lovers of releases signed by 12k know very well that the Argentinian sound artist joined the American label in 2016, which eventually resulted in the release of his album La Niña Junco a year later (more about him here).

The This Valley Of Old Mountains project was inspired by both artists’ fascination with the subject of the mountains. Organic ambient by Deupree and Durand – with a slightly folk color – defends itself completely, taking into account, for example, the ambient magma of mediocrity, which, unfortunately, is being published more and more.

I recommend that you listen carefully to the duo’s minimalistic – and sometimes even unreal – soundlands, which effectively detach from the here and now, and thus bring only positive feelings into the mind.
