Polish artist Tomasz Bednarczyk works and researches on the healing aspects of psychedelic, which in this case means not only the effect of psychotropic substances like psilocybin or ketamine on post-traumatic stress and depression, but more importantly the effect of immersive sound. He officially stopped his solo work under his own name in 2010. So his new work Windy Weather Always Makes Me Think Of You (12K, February 25) comes as a bit of a surprise. Not that much has changed in the meantime. Field recordings, mixed far into the background, mainly of natural phenomena, of journeys around the world, are filled with synthetic sounds to form soft, harmonious surfaces, to warm drones, not unlike those of Celer.
