Reviews of Wind Dynamic Organ, One & Two [12k2061]

Back to Release
DA Music (BE)

“Wind Dynamic Organ, One and Two,” a richly modulated sound where sound and air noise complement each other.

Ethereal (FR)

Zimoun’s approach evolves subtly, inviting the listener to immerse themselves in these two long tracks and enjoy the depth and almost dizzying quality of a very coherent whole.

Chain.DLK (.COM)

What’s striking is how the organ never settles into grandeur. Despite its scale and ecclesiastical setting, the music resists triumph and avoids spectacle. Instead, it hovers in that ambiguous zone between tone and noise, intention and accident.

Silence and Sound (FR)

The duo takes full advantage of the instrument’s exceptional qualities to create an album of floating atmospheres, a suspended mirage resembling an oasis anchored to a horizon line whose contours are blurred by a shimmering, ethereal light. Superb.

Avant Music News (.COM)

Zimoun amasses plenty of complexity, but the final mix never obscures the source.
