In
conjunction with the digital re-release of Taylor Deupree &
Kenneth Kirschner's post_piano (2002), term. is pleased
to present newly remastered versions of Kirschner's original "sketches"
for post_piano. These simple compositions, all created
from a single low-resolution piano sample, formed the source material
for Deupree & Kirschner's collaborative album and were included
on the CD release as mp3 data files. As part of the open source
approach of the overall post_piano series (such as the
post_piano 2 Open Remix Project), other
artists are actively encouraged to sample, remix and adapt these
sketches into new creative contexts.
