i like the sound of getting wet laundry out of the washing machine, and "shake it straight", to hang it on a drying line. (i hope i'm understandable, cause i feel like my english is failing me)

and: heavy rainfall on a tent when you're inside of it. awesome surround.

and: waterfalls.

my copy arrived today.  really lovely item.... nice, simple idea and well presented.

a fave sound of mine (certainly these days) is the sound of walking on fresh snow, the crunch as it compacts under footsteps.

I missed the original releases of TACL, but this thread led me to the Sol Lewitt project: Sol Sketches. Sol lived the next town over and our groups of friends crossed paths from time to time.  A local synagogue was designed by a friend of mine and Sol collaborated with the design somewhat.  These sketches sound really interesting (as was Sol's work)...I've just ordered it.

Summer has been pretty brutally hot here so far, so I sleep with the window open, and in the mornning there's a bird that has started to imitate and respond to my cell phone morning alarm. These days that is probably my favorite sound.

That moment when the refrigerator shuts off and the sound I hadn't been noticing vanishes. It's a weird one.
