Beautiful photos, people. Very tasteful and inspiring.

mdoudin - Tremendous. Great subject and really nicely captured.

haesslich - Is that a DSLR that you're using? If so, have a flick through the options and look for cleaning mode. Take the lens off, set it on its cleaning cycle and then apply a light breeze to the inside of the camera - I usually use a hair dryer on its lowest and coldest setting from around 12 inches away. That will get rid of the blotches on your sensor. Turn the camera off, put the lens back on and it will be as good as new.

You're welcome. They're really cool photos. The colours and textures are top notch. Very subtle and dreamy. What type of camera did you use to take them? They look like film but it's difficult to tell these days.

Haha.. it's actually a polaroid AF with the new Impossible Project films. they're not edited. but I also take film photos with an old Nikon. I will post them here, maybe in the next few days.

Great stuff. Polaroid - is it still quite expensive to do?

Wow, I like yours too, Charlie. You got that cold distance in it, which I love so much.

Polaroid is very expensive.. you need to consider very well which shots to take..

I pay like 30 Swiss francs for 8 pictures, which is around 38 dollars.

Thanks. Glad you like them.

$38 for 8 pictures. Blimey. That really is quite steep. I'll have to stick with the faithful DSLR and the Holga for the time being, unfortunately.

Yes, but I don't know how much it costs at your place.. the positive thing about it: the cameras are almost for free (on ebay, etc.). I got myself a 25 years old analogue and I get 36 pictures for like 25 dollars.. which is affordable.

I'll be back in a few mins to upload the analogues (not polaroids) as well.

Fantastic. They're all very moody and atmospheric. I particular like the first one and the last two. Simple but cool.

On the subject of polaroids, yes, I'd noticed how cheap the cameras actually go for in comparison to the paper. Ironic really, isn't it? You would think someone might have come up with a way to do it more cheaply but obviously not. Maybe having a look around on eBay or in thrift shops could save a bit of money.

Thank you. most of them are from norway, the cupboard with the cool handwriting on it is from amsterdam.

That's kind of stupid yes. Well, but that's how post-liberalism works, they have the monopole, so they can demand that price and people who appreciate this technique need to pay it.

Maybe, but by today you can easily make digital "polaroids". It's not original then, but it almost looks allike. What you don't have is that art by chance effect and the cool physical appearance, though.

Hey, someone should develop an idea how to digitally get that "surprise effect" in a polaroid way haha :)

thanks charlie! I'll keep that in mind and try it.

one thing i like about the pinhole is that the depth of focus (though blurry) is infinite, which gives the possibility to shoot tilted planes completely in focus without a tilt shift.

Great picts, as always!

I was really excited when the guys from Impossible Project re-started the whole thing again...but honestly I´m little bit disappointed with their products. (Or maybe I´m making something wrong)

I spent lots of € buying their films, both 600-sx70 formats, and of course, using the old Polas from my dad+aunt (both in excellent cosmetics and working ok with expired but original Pola films).

The same as always: not clear results, following their instructions carefully, asking again and again, scanning and sending back to them my blurry (mainly blank) pics...so I refused to buy more cartridges...and went back to 35-120mm plastic and vintage cameras.

pd: any Fuji Instax users here? (just to compare)

best,
pug
