Nice work guys.

Rene - is the power pole at that angle or is that a camera thing (I notice with my cheapy cameras the - I guess - scanning effect makes things lean when I photograph from a moving vehicle)?

hey, sorry haven't checked back in a while. this weird angle was simply the movement (it was shot from a bus)...
the harinezumi does weird things in a very good way.

same effect here:

all those harinezumi photos look great! they have this lomo lc-a flair.
i bought my first half-decent digital camera recently (an olympus e-p1) and thought it might be the right opportunity to start in this thread. a 10 second exposure at night:

a train shakes the snow-dust from the steal beems under a railway bridge. it's a pitty you can only slighty see it. i was too slow with this shot ;-)

amazing day in nature today. everything still snow covered, but a huge fog over the area. spent the afternoon photographing on a frozen reservoir near us.

any thoughts here about film scanners or ideas on how to digitize film negatives
being able to do panoramic cameras would be a plus

would like to be able to share also

Land Titles: A few years ago I was paid to scan 35mm slides, and I was provided with a negative/slide scanner for the job. I guess that's the tool you need, but I doubt that they're cheap. Sorry I can't provide more information on makes, models and prices, but I'm sure you could do some searching yourself. The advantage of these scanners over normal ones is their very high resolution and their methods of holding the film in a stable way. Good luck!

Here's a few recent shots from Sneinton woods again. The first one is a long-exposure image of the moon, with camera shake. Weirdly, it makes it look closer than the trees instead of further away. Two others are of street lights through the trees with camera blur (notice the 50Hz flicker of the sodium lamps).
