There was no blood in it and today I heard it was not an Asian Tiger Mosquito but just a "Culiseta annulata" (which is a typical giant mosquito here in Europe) :-(

Nice work guys.

Rene - is the power pole at that angle or is that a camera thing (I notice with my cheapy cameras the - I guess - scanning effect makes things lean when I photograph from a moving vehicle)?

Iceland is probably one of the most photogenic place in the world...
