Some great pictures on this thread recently; good to see it so active again. Here's a few from Sneinton woods:

I've been playing with a lensbaby muse on my Lumix GH1 for a few months now, and finally feel confident enough to share. Here are a few photos I took in downtown LA.  ;D

Thanks Billy! I'm using the plastic lens, the glass looks a little to sharp for me. I have the pinhole optic too which I used on this video:

Thanks NKL!
I like your shot, is that with a tilt-shift lens? The blue-ish grass reminds me of the two strip technicolor look that Scorsese used in The Aviator.

thanks sublamp! no, that is simulation of tilt-shift in photoshop. yeah, i know that technique [two strip technicolor] i am delighted with effect from the swedish movie ping-pongkingen by: jens jonsson  i played with the channel mixer and selective color tools in the photoshop.

::

i discovered this guy [chris friel] from flickr and i am amazed how he works (paint) with a camera.

my try.. long exposition from the hand and minimal editing

nkl, I think you just introduced me to my new favorite photographer! Chris Friel's work is amaaaaaaazing! I like your version of it as well. Especially the first one.
I made a video a few years ago using a similar, controlled long exposure effect:

Orphax, nice work on the butterfly shot! The soft focus on the wings is great  :)
