12k in Havana, Cuba.  Just bringing some capitalist branding down to there to make sure they're oriented correctly should they ever seek out the heights of American culture.  Or, just something amusing.  No, I'm not giving the 'finger' - I'm pointing to the shirt with two fingers and one was insecure about the situation.

would have been way better if you were giving the shirt the finger!  :)

This thread's a little quiet ...

Experimenting with an Everio video camera set to take stills.  I like the 16:9 ratio, and the depth of field it creates, even if it's a low meg picture (1920x1080pixels).  Still have lots to learn about photography, but I liked this.  Autumn here, so things are dying away - this was all natural light too.

Original size here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/venusvulture/4616146357/sizes/o/, which shows up the graininess of the camera.

Nikola, as always, beautiful, intriguing photographs.  Very nice to see your posts here again.

Still check your Flickr page frequently -- didn't even know you had your own blog now!

Lovely shot. The patches of red and white in the centre (a person + ?) give balance to the whole scene, and allow you to make sense of an otherwise disorienting image.

I really like that effect of bicycle-induced camera-shake. Let's see some more!
