dead can dance reunion
« on: November 24, 2011, 03:47:13 pm »
i saw that dead can dance anounced (once again) a reunion, incl. world tour and a new album in 2012. i missed their reunion tour in 2005 or when, so i'm curious if i'll make it this time.

while i don't in particular listen to their music anymore since years, i was still attached to their music when i was younger, say 10-15 years ago. (i'm not that old, so i started to listen to their music when they already had disbanded).

what about you? any dead can dance love in here?

yeah, for sure... when i was a teenager i was a big 4AD fan. i don't listen to them as much as i used to, but i do occasionally... and it's always so nice.

i saw them live a long time ago and it was one of the most physical, loud performances i've ever seen.. if you can believe it... and they are so good live. their live recordings are usually great as well.

glad to hear they'll be getting together again.

Nice, if it isn't the crazy priced I might go and see them.
Got a bunch of their albums which I do not listen to very much any more. But I used to love them quite a bit.

I have fond memories associated with their music, haven't listened in many years though.

i definitely see a pattern here :)

and by the way, totally unrelated to their music i really much appreciate the sound of "into the labyrinth". i think that's one of the best sounding albums ever. recording and mastering are absolutely stunning.
