I stumbled upon this user based website that has loads of info about venues in every corner of the globe: http://improvdb.free.fr/

There are probably some out of dates infos, but I encourage you strongly to modify content by adding venues or changing contact info, that sort of thing, seems like a very practical phonebook to have.
