Line 6 Effect Pedals

Strymon seems to be quiet uplifting at the moment. but what about the good old line6 pedals? They're huge, they're heavy, but their sound is incredible, at least to me. I mean you have plenty of possibilities with them. what do you think about them?

if they wouldn't break down, they would be perfect :)
heard many complaints in that area about the DL4... i've had the same issue. though the DL4 looper is really good, as are most of the delays.

my strymon delay hasn't broken down yet, so that one has my vote :)

as I have the Strymon and Anne has the Line6 - based on sound quality and usability, I think the Strymon wins hands down.  of course she got the Line6 years and years ago when it was pretty much de rigueur in delay/loop land back then...

i got into it through the echo park. now i ordered the reverb and the flanger. most probably i'll also buy the distorter, too.

Hmmmm, I'd say you can get nicer pedals than the Line 6 ones for similar money - the TC Electronic toneprint ones for example...

I was simply surprised by the possibilites those effects offer. Of course there are better quality pedals, but I love the almost endless reverb without the need to use computers..

I'm a DL4 user. I bought one when they first came out and loved it ever since. I just loved the tank like metal chassis.

If you'd like to clean up the sound of your DL4. Might I suggest checking this guy out:

I've sent a few pedals to him for modification and I'm happy as a pig in shiZ with what he has done. Well worth the price.

Love this pedal...in fact was my first looper, and combined with my Jamman has been my main setup for a year..no computer involved.
