About 15 years ago, Theo Janssen gave a presentation at my school. I was sooo impressed! Nice to see this again...

That must have been great fun to see Janssen at school!

This cybernetic sculpture is worth a look if you haven't seen it. The Senster has amazingly natural movement. Edward Ihnatowicz studied things like lobster claws to understand the mechanism. There's no audio on the clip, but you can see that it reacts to sound - it is attracted to quiet sounds (as if curious), and repelled by loud sounds (as if startled).
