what happened to spekk ?
« on: March 28, 2011, 02:40:11 pm »
their website doesn't work, since sometime before the dramatic events in japan. Does somebody knows something about it ?
I'd be very sad to see another beautiful label disappear  :-[ :-[

There seems to be long gaps of absence and then they drop two or three CDs at once.  Seems like I've had the same thought on several occasions.

Spekk is still up and running, just problems with the website. It seems to be back up today!

I was worried too, so I write an e-mail. Here's the response (received day before those tragic incident in Japan, so things could change a bit):

Quote
Hello Arkadiusz,

Sorry to make you feel concerned and thank you for thinking about our label.
Actually, we just have a website problem (should be fixed soon) and everything is okay with me and the label. I just have been so busy here in Shanghai (did I tell you that I moved to China to study Chinese?) and the progress of my label has been slow. Anyway, we are preparing for our new releases to be out soon in Spring so I will let you know when it's confirmed.

Thanks again and hope everything is well on your side too!
Nao.

Infos about Piiptsjilling and Janek Schaefer are also true. Now when the website is working again maybe we will se those releases soon. :)
