What do you like to see in terms of art on an album cover?

Most peoples opinions on this will be different and wide-ranging. Some covers look great, some look terrible. Is there anything in particular that catches your eye?

Back in 2007, Andrew Liles released his "Black" series. One CD per month for the entire year, each with different yet simliar art:

I love the theme of the hands making the figures......the sounds on the inside equally as enjoyable.
