Deja vu: My first post on the old forum was on Radere's thread about DI boxes, and now my first post on the revived forum is on the equivalent thread!

Sounds like you've sorted it now, but just to say that having heard the SamsAmp box in action, I think you made a good choice. Some good warm and crunchy tones in there for guitar and bass alike.

Ha! Yea, I never did pick a unit up when I posted that thread last time. Hence, restarting it on this new forum. I figured investing in a new looper would have more benefit at the time. Should have a SansAmp in hand by month's end, though. Looking forward to it!

Question: Should I run my effects pedals before or after the Para Driver box? I notice it doesn't have an effects loops built-in, so I'm trying to think of where I would physically put it in my signal path...

my instinct would be to make it last in the chain, especially as you are intending to use it as an amp model/DI...

That's what I was thinking, but then I realized that if I put it before my looper pedal I would have a lot more control over the tonal characteristics of each successive looped layer. I guess it's just going to take some experimentation!
