Polaroid 80 film? ..

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where you can get pinhole polaroid type 80 film from on the web? .. I've been offered this camera ...

 .... but there doesn't appear to be any film around to buy? ..
Pointless purchase if you can't get film

I don't think you can get the film, unless you luck upon some really old stock on ebay. I bought a Polaroid Land Camera awhile ago and then came up empty. I wrote to The Impossible Project (http://shop.the-impossible-project.com/shop/film) people, and at least when I wrote, they said they had no plans to offer 80-type film. Too bad but they do have some cool stock for some of the other cameras

hey stephen, yeah I spoke to the guys at impossible and they've said exactly the same thing .. unfortunately the film is hard to come by so I'm going to give the camera a miss I think. Ideally I'd prefer a Holgaroid, I know it's not pinhole but I have the holga camera already I just need to modify it with the instant polaroid back. The only problem is cost .. it's bloody expensive

Plenty of stock of Polaroid Type 100 still around and Fuji Film still makes their equivalent.

Yeah plenty of the 100 but no 80

This looks like a decent camera and it will take 100 film which is frequently available online ..
