when songs are cut to vinyl the bass frequencies are one area of concern.. as they should be in phase and not too stereo.... this is something the mastering engineer or cutting engineer can take care of, though.
also, high frequency sibilance can have problems.. distorting easily..
the mastering engineer can take care of most of the issues for vinyl..
also, don't slam the volume of your mixes too much. i recently did a mastering job where the client wanted the mixes really really loud... i warned them against it... and the vinyl cutter had to turn it down nearly 10db to get a safe cut to vinyl...
