I'm excited about this, lot of possibilities in those different modes. But, does it have any looping functions? Looking at the controls, it doesn't seem like it to me.

looks like there is a built in looper (the right switch reads "stop" / "hold looper"). i imagine you'll just hold down the switch to access the looper...

so much is rumor at this point, although there is a poorly shot video on youtube - the audio clips a lot but i suppose it gives an idea of some of the possibilities...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M46J-EXgzhw

i'll be curious to see strymon post some official info on this - full feature listing, good quality videos/clips, pricing etc...

I completely missed the text on the bottom. Tired eyes I guess, thanks for pointing it out. I wonder if the looper will be an isolated function, or if it'll loop in any delay mode.

that's a better video..

the ice delay is quite the Eventide thing.. with their crystals and pitch shifted delays.... i LOVE the swell effect on the timeline..

still no mention of a proper looper.. i could loop like the ElCapistan does, which is more or less like a delay hold, and not exactly like a full-featured looper..

from their blog:

" TimeLine gives you the Single head sliding dTape machine, with full control over each parameter. El Capistan does offer additional tape machine types and modes. Thanks!"

"we will have more info on the looper soon. You will be able to use the looper and the delay at the same time. Thanks!"

great info.. thanks!

glad my ElCap isn't redundant.. and awesome to hear you can use the effects and loop at same time.. we'll see how the functionality/tweaky-ness compares against the new Vox looper...

I'm not sure I'm happy I read this thread... I'm already in guitar pedal gear lust mode as it is.

Wow. I've been ignoring the Timeline, as the last thing I need to be doing is buying more gear; but it may be hard to say "no" to this beast...

There needs to be a drooling emoticon...
