Yesterday i watched "The Master". Weird but at the same time beautiful movie!
Also, extremely good performances and soundtrack.

i've quit the movie around the middle. didn't feel convincing at all and felt simply to boring... nothing for me!

I endured through the whole thing, much to my better half's dismay. She kept asking me "wait a minute, do you get ANY of this?" and I could only shrug.

I've always been enthusiastic about most of Cronenberg's earlier works, and even with Eastern Promises and A History of Violence I felt like he came up with stronger albeit more mainstream material. But now this one completely evades me, there's a scene in the end that can be somewhat redeeming but really not sure it's worth the ordeal.

Oh well. I shut up now.

i made it to the end, but found the whole thing to be super-slow.  same with a dangerous method:  great acting, looks fantastic, but nothing actually happens!

just last night i watched the film debut by cronenburg's son, "antiviral".  pretty cool, weird, low buget indie horror.  very minimal and sparse sets with cool sound design.  pretty impressive for a first film!
