The wife and I recently started Breaking Bad. The show about the meth cooking science teacher. Interesting concept but nothing ground breaking.

i love that show!  can't wait till season 4 this summer.  just brilliant acting by bryan cranston.

some good documentaries recently:

catfish

gasland

my kid could paint that

That Cranston guy is really good.

My fav doc is 'I Like Killing Flies'.

I should really go see some new films this coming weeks in the cinema.
Haven't been too much films the last 2 months, that while I can go for free.
Last recent film I saw in the cinema was Incendies.
If you haven't seen it yet I can really recommend it. Quite impressive.
Great story and lovely shots.

It's from my neck of the woods and the praises are endless, I have yet to see it.

Last film i saw was Kynodontas (Dogtooth) and for sure it is the best Greek film of the last decade or more..! If you like early von Trier's stuff this is your movie.

Great to hear.
Kenny Shopsin is one fascinating dood...

You might dig, 'Surfwise' if you liked I like killing flies. More interesting people dynamics.

never let me go

how is this one? i'm looking forward to see it next week.

127 hours

that one disturbed me. the combination of danny boyle's style (the lighting, camera, cut) and this story was really weird, but in the end turned out to function really great.
btw. in germany it's rated FSK12 - i'd rather not let my 12 year old see this movie (if I had a 12 year old, anyway).

I know reactions were mixed, but I really enjoyed it. As a huge science fiction fan, I wish more of the genre was approached in this manner.
