SND back catalogue

taylor, just saw your twitter post about 12k issuing the snd back cat.  any details about what releases and when?

the first 3 SND albums were very under-represented in the official, legal, world of digital downloads. mark fell came to me to help them out with that ('atavism' is supported by Raster)... i agreed to take it on and we expanded the idea to include various 12"s, live shows and other recordings they may want to get out there.

the first 3 albums, "makesnd cassette," "stdio," and "tender love" will be available in about a month. during that time we'll organize some of the other releases and get them out there as we can.

anywhere you can buy 12k downloads you'll be able to buy the SND stuff.. the usual places like iTunes, eMusic, Bleep, Boomkat, etc etc...

i'm really excited about the partnership, as i'm good friends with mark and mat and love their music. and was surprised it wasn't more readily available... it works out for everyone.

cheers for the info taylor.  it's the Tplay 12" i'm particularly interested in seeing released digitally as i've never heard that one.
and the newtables and travelogue 12"s i have on vinyl, but are in ireland in storage and i haven't listened to them in years.... so i hope these all get a 12k release.

i guess it's also an important detail to note that these will not be "12k" releases, but rather their own label (snd) just managed by me on the back end...

This is indeed great news...I've actually been listening to a load of SND lately, so having access to some of the deeper aspects of their back catalog is something to look forward to!

just got the 12k message in my email stating that the 1st 3 snd albums are now available digitally.  can't wait till the live/rare/12" stuff goes up too.

apologies for the fact that TENDER LOVE is per-track only. there was a mix-up on iTunes that i'm trying to fix.

other places have it as "full album" download... hopefully iTunes will get it right in the coming weeks!
