Ciat-Lonbarde Coco...
« on: April 03, 2013, 06:37:42 am »
I picked up one of his (PeterB) older instruments (Cocolase) a few months back but sold it to get a CocoQuantus and if you haven't had a chance to play on one they are quite amazing! Its two digital delays/looper with VCO's for modulating different settings of the delays... Very Lofi and warm sounding... If you have a chance check it out... He also makes an incredible drum machine/synth called the PlumButter...

This is a track I did with the Cocolase so you can get an idea of how it sounds...

It does look amazing... I haven't owned a Sidrassi either but he's just released the updated version of the Tetrazzi as well called the Tetrax Organ...

Its funny when I first saw them I sort of dismissed it because of the appearance (quite ignorant of me) but when I got the Coco I was amazed by the build quality and sound... The circuit boards themselves are works of art...

Thanks for the complement Taylor... appreciate it...

Its basically two digital delays with infinite loop options...You can run one into the other or run them in parallel... You have control of pitch, speed and also location within the sample and direction... You can also have sound on sound...It also has 5 VCO's that you can use to modulate the delays (they can also cross modulate between them as well)... everything has modular inputs and outputs so you can not only patch and modulate between things (like a modular) but also interface with external sources...

Here is the manual but in PeterB fashion its a little esoteric...
