gareth, have you seriously considered what ditching a looper pedal might do for your rep on this forum?  seriously??

Billy, don't worry i've got it covered - i'm currently using a Boomerang III (great looper!) and the sale of 2880 will be used to buy a Strymon Timeline!

ok, i think it's fair to keep gareth here if he's getting a timeline... not that the RangIII isn't worthy.. but, you know.. this is a 2880 and Strymon love house. it's one, the other, or the road!

That's why the rest of this transaction convo will take place in PMs, DUH.

That way we  can both deny any claim to owning or not a loop pedal.

And that, my friend, is what we call a loophole.   ;)

speaking of the 2880... not only I am trying to keep this thread from going in circles but I also have a questions to my real buddies (=those with a 2880): Where do you have yours in the signal chain? quite often I find that the input I have is too high for the looper to not start clipping when I put it after the (uhhh... ermm... sorry...) line 6 pod (nope, not the line 6 II)... even with low output and trimmed input. any thoughts? I use an import from the us of a with an euro psu (should not make a differnence, or?)
Same is with synths fed through the cathedral into the 2880.... What do you guys suggest or how is your set up involving the 2880?

you still have input clip problems even with the input controls on the front panel of the 2880?

i've never had input problems with mine.. and it's usually the very last thing in line.. making final loops.

I see similar behavior here: when feeding the 2880 with guitar (or other instruments) from the Pod, even if the pod's output volume turned comparable low, the 2880 tends to clip.
I've no free aux send's on my mixer, so I consider placing the 2880 last in the row, after the mixer.

Yes, it was the pod. Well, I was not surprised about clipping using the Sherman Filterbank but I sold it for different reasons ("too many knobs") anyway...

Don't have one (want one!)...I'd put it last after the Pod.
