But just looking at the device, it has a bare 4 faders, can you recall previous tracks and assign them to a particular fader?
For example how could I cross fade loop #2 with loop #9 (in the recording sequence)?
i have it since one day now so i've not tried out everything yet. but i think what you're looking for here is not possible with this machine.
what you get is 4 seperate loopers, each with a fader. so you can't assign tracks to faders or something. you choose a track to record on and then overdub on this track, or you choose another track to record, then, if you like, overdub on that and so on.
but what's on one track cannot be placed to another track.
records on CF card, and each card holds one set of tracks (so track 1-4 plus the stereo mixdown, each once). if you record a new set, the previous content of the card is overwritten, so it's advisable to have several cards at hand.
maybe someone who uses the 2880 for a longer time can give some more information here, since i'm not 100% sure about all possibilites yet.
