I just want to add that ever since I've gotten the hang of my Capistan's looper function, it's become an indispensable tool -- both live and when recording. In terms of its ability to generate texture, the thing is just unparalleled! That said, I'm licking my lips at the prospect of one of those Timeline units. That thing just looks BEASTLY!

I have played with a few folks recently who have been like "how are you getting that sound?"

I'm either pointing at the shruti-1 or the capistan.  usually both.
