looper pedal *is* indeed required... what we frown upon is using ableton live to loop.

oh, and secondly, ralph is still banned.

thirdly, no looping pedal or loops of any kind DEFINITELY is cooler than looping. make sure you do what everyone else ISN'T.

indeed, El Presidente has a loop mode... it's more like a "tape loop" though.. not as straight forward or dry as, say, the 2880.

Just picked one of these up for myself...really, really impressed by it. I'd been in need of a second delay for a good while, and I'm really glad I held out for the Capistan. There's a lot of deep tone shaping capability in this little box!

well yeah it seems a number of us got themselves some presents this year.

this thing is fun.  sounds fantastic, and totally inspirational.  great vintage sounds too.  already got a great take just playing around.  haven't been this keen on a delay since I first got some time w/a Memory Man.

the only pedals I have in my experience to really compare this too are the Boss DD6 (guitar center standard) and the Line6.  I may do some side/side comparison's w/the Line6.  I'm not really a "delays for days" dude but this box coud probably change that.
