the Shruti/Shruthi only sends MIDI out, so you'd need that module for the Doepfer.  what would be really cool would be have that Seq trigger CV changes back to the Shruti. craaaaaaazy.

I found the Shruti "pretty" easy to build, and definitely brushed up my skills good.

oooooootini get that patch going.

I need to work out what the first sentence means in practice (I'm still learning... got a 'tutorial' tonight, where I'm going to hook the ickle Dark Energy up to a massive modular synth - I hope to fully understand rather than notionally appreciate CV by bedtime)

the second line might cost me a few quid... in a good way

if you've already got a Dark Energy moving about in yr universe, yr on the right track.  If yr still confused about CV, return here for a lil knowledge or, you know, I think the internet can help there too.

to use the CV coming from another trad modular w/the Shruti/thi you would need to build a port adapter for the Shruti/thi.  that might be a bit of a task...

not sure to be honest. looks impressive anyway... like a big diy filterbank...

edit: the top board is the control board, each board below is (i presume) one of the couple of different filter types available, cem, ssm, dual svf, MS-20, etc etc..

it's a stack of shruthi-1 synth PCBs with one of the control PCBs on top.  it's AWESOME if all the synth boards can be programmed with a little drift for disgusting fat analog sound, or a Oootini says, a nasty ass filterbank.

i'd like to have a true stereo version of the sidekick+shruti-filter-of-your-choice, but without the actual shruti. just as filterbank.
but then, i could also get a vermona or sherman filterbank. :-)
