i was listening to lee's mix today, great stuff.  in fact that whole series has been excellent.  that and the composing with process series has been very rewarding this year.

spinvis - tot ziens justine keller (dutch songs, nice, simple, humble and fun)
nils frahm - felt (this is how i want piano's to sound)
talons' - songs for boats (best acoustic record of 2011)
stephan mathieu - a static place (so gentle)
simon scott - bunny (nice shoegaze elements)

i've been on a slaapwel kick since yesterday.... The Boats album and Sonmi451... both absolutely beautiful. i have a couple of the other Slaapwel discs that simon & ralph kindly sent me, but i'm afraid i may have to head back over to the bandcamp page later today....

i've this agreement with my girlfriend: one LP record for christmas.
i got her the sigur ros - inni box, which fits perfectly next to the "in a frozen sea" box.

she got me esmerine - la lechuza.
that's one very fine record which inexplicably did not show up in any top 10 list so far.
