vladislav delay «vantaa» (raster-noton)

beautiful packaging. very nice material.
musicwise very disappointing. seems uninspired...

i really like this actually!  i wasn't so into "tummaa", and thought this was a return to form.  kinda like classic delay.  although i must say i really dislike the track "lauma", just doesn't seem to fit at all.

I've been spending a ton of time with Vantaa, and it definitely feels like a return to his earlier Chain Reaction material. It's hardly on par with those albums, but it's nice to see him returning to synthesis and those classic Delay tones of yore. I will say it sounds a bit limp in places, but on the whole it's a pretty strong album...but I'm just one man!

The Roots - Rising Down

How is this compared to other Roots records?

I really loved the two first albums but the others got me bored... I am afraid to try this one.

Lawrence English - The Peregrine (on repeat, every night).

Well, from what I've heard from them, this is their least soulful and rawest record. That's probibly why it's my favorite....

finally wrangled up a chunk of SOFA's 2011 ouput:

Hayward/Lo/Taxt
«microtub»

[imghttp://www.sofamusic.no/images/releases/sofa535.jpg[/img]http://Silencers
«Balances des Blancs»

 EMO ALBINO
«Lady Lord»

totally impressive, beautifully recorded work that is consistently my kind of thing.
