they never sounded that dark and desperate again. Especially All Cats Are Grey and The Funeral Party are still absolutely amazing.

wow, "wish" is an odd choice but I was quite blown away when I listened to it again... lovely.

can't say which is my favourite cure record, I just started to listen to "faith" again as I love "17 seconds" (because of this clean, dead cold production) and "p0rn0graphy" (because of its tomtomtoms and cool guitar lines). Wonder how they got this guitar sound, sometimes it sounds like "no amp involved"...

But I also like the bombast of "disintegration"... I think the last the cure record I bought and listened to quite a bit was "bloodflowers"...

Well, this is a masterpiece!!!!! This release along with Taylor's Weather & Worn (which i bought in a lame mp3 format) are two of my favorites 12k releases! I feel so safe when i am listening to Monocoastal or Weather & Worn because of the really warm atmosphere they have. I am sure that i will develop a love/hate relationship with these two albums.
