Pan Sonic - Gravitoni

ordered this also ... anyone knows if this will be the final Pan Sonic release as stated somewhere ?

Mr Vainio elaborates a bit on the topic here: http://technoccult.net/archives/2010/05/04/pan-sonics-mika-vainio-technoccult-interview/

Phill Niblock - Touch Strings : still wondering why such a prestigious label goes back to these *ugly* jewel cases...

funny, I am coming back to this album quite frequently and I'm wondering the same thing... Digipack would heave been so much nicer.

But what about the big fat booklet...wouldn't really fit in a digipack. It would only break down the "holders".

Listening:
Nicholas Szczepanik - Dear Dad (out on Basses Frequences)
Best drone album this year so far, period.

what was waiting for me when I got home:

Kevin Drumm Necro Acoustic

5 CDs = intimidating.  but really amazing, stunning collections of noise.

John Butcher + Rhodri Davies Carliol

tasty tones and vibrations.  spare & elegant.

Vic Rawlings Whereupon There Is Not There Is Also Another That
Mike Bullock Music For Cinema

some nice lil cassettes for mornings.

Christopher McFall The Body As I Left It

this'll probably get another spin or two before I really pass judgment.  seems a little rough, rushed.
