Boards of Canada, Live at ATP Sussex 2001: http://percussionlab.com/sets/boards_of_canada/_live_at_atp_sussex_2001 (Not sure I've ever heard BOC live...enjoying the heck out of this!)
Yeah, I think it's only happened a couple times! I think I have that mix somewhere...

Love Guilty Simpson with Madlib and Dilla. Not so hot on his own.

That is a glorious album. I heard that in the downstairs bar at Le Poisson Rouge a few months ago...totally took me back. Love it!

Currently listening to Loscil's entire catalog and getting stoked for Endless Falls...

Good memories...

Sort of in the same area:
Neurosis - Throught Silver in Blood

Revisiting this one after a long time of just forgetting it... Wow, so extremely powerful, and way more emotional then the death metal i listened to in that period (mid 90's)...

Same feelings I had when I saw this used Tuesday. So I traded some green backs for it.

Of course they are Ralph! (I do this all of the time- I think we all probably do)

Listening to mainly a steady diet of Ghost Box releases (they've really become one of my favorite labels over the last couple years)
Belbury Poly - From an Ancient Star
The Focus Group - Hey Let Loose Your Love, We Are All Pan's People
The Advisory Circle - Other Channels
Roj - The Transactional Dharma of...

v/a - 5 Years of Hyperdub

Feen 'O Berg - In Stereo
Not so sure about this... didn't leave a big impression yet...

i was really excited about this, but I'm also a little undecided about this one. I'm missing the impact of the first two ones at the  moment. i think i need to give this  a couple of more spins

that's too bad about the negative reactions here.  i haven't heard this yet, but i've been looking forward to it.  maybe they work better as a live improv group as opposed to studio-bound work.

I admit my enthusiasm got a bit a curbed after reading the reactions here... Now I'm listening to this record for the third time today and I really, really like it. Very solid release. I especially enjoy all the vintage electronic sounds (propably courtesy of Peter Rehberg?).

As it was already said, the structure is very different in comparison to previous releases of the trio - it's all way more refined. What's also worth noticing, is the fact that I still track some spots of the good old Fenn O'Berg spirit on this new record (or am I just deluding myself? ;) ).

Barbara Streisand/Barry Gibb "Guilty"

This is not a joke. Just listen to the duet "What Kind of Fool" and you'll see why. I promise.
Tommy used to work on the docks. Union's been on strike, he's down on his luck. It's tough. So tough.
