I'm curious.  Has anyone ever sold a good portion of your music collection like this?  Is it worth it?  Do you regret it? 

I suppose it might depend on the reason you needed the money, but I'm always intrigued by what feeling you might be left with after selling so much music.  It'd be crushing, I'd imagine.

i've only sold chunks of music b/c i really didn't listen to it anymore.  I've rarely found it to be of any tangible financial gain.

I sold a Lemon Jelly LP on Discogs for 100Eur recently, bought on a whim when I once worked in Tower. 
A lot of vinyl releases keep their price quite well as they're limited.
I've been selling off a good chunk of stuff the past year or so, but only stuff I don't have much time for anymore, there's a core collection of things I'd never sell unless really desperate.

He's got some nice things on there, might get some sneaky bids in.
Looks like he's raided his little sister's cd collection too for some extra funds. Good man!

aye, funny seeing a christina aguilera album in there amongst the mille plateaux, 12k etc stuff!  the guy's got range.

Funny, I did a bid on the Kozo Inada - Mort Aux Vaches and missed out on it, because people decided to place a bid that is higher than the price at Staalplaat (where it is still available).
