Re-designed site is looking good, Taylor. Nice open feel to it.

I like the colour schemes, but not sure about the capitalisation of artist and album names - a little bit shouty for the 12k aesthetic? (very nice font, though!)
Image enlargement is a nice feature.
+1 for catalogue numbers on releases list.

yeah I hate splash screens too, waste of time.
great to be able to see the names of the albums/artists beside the album covers on the releases page.
love the coloured text and the dropdowns.

btw, a little typo on line 20 of your Snow (Dusk, Dawn) release page, Deupree is spelled with a small d.

I'd like to point out that 12k's RSS feed doesn't work for me (browser: Opera 10.53), the message I get is: "Not Found The requested URL /feeds/rss_news was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

& I can't add 12k's feed to Google Reader as well. The error is something like  "can't find the desired channel".
