Happy the 12k forum is back!
I thought I would share the news of my first 12inch release is out now on SonuoS, a new record label run by the very talented and ever so friendly Finn Albertsson, aka Dj Finn of Tomland.

I started a blog called
http://www.mono-log.org/ on Jan 1st this year, whereby I upload a Nord Modular G1 sound each day. This was partly to learn better the machine, but also to get myself better disciplined, focused and puting more of my music out there for people to enjoy. After what has been nearly some 24 years of making electronic based music, with relatively little available to listen to, I figured its time to change that.
The blog is still going strong, within currently 332 free downloadable sketches, tracks, sounds, call them what you will. Even as I type this I am debating on continuing into the next year as it has been such an amazing experience…still undecided.
Through my blog, I have meant some amazing people, many through this 12k forum in fact. One person I was introduced to back in April was Finn Albertsson, resident DJ at Culture Box in Copenhagen.
Finn was starting the SonouS record label, and having enjoyed my uploads selected a few for me to work on and release with him. One of great things about this for me was he picked sketches that fell in a style I have been always wanting to release under an alias Pokk!, an experimental dub-techno direction. I never thought I would ever see this project begin, so am obviously extremely pleased to get it off the ground with the support of Finn and SonuoS.
The 12 inch release comes on white vinyl, and has 3 tracks, 2 by me as Pokk!, and a remix by Andreas Tilliander as Mokira, which is pretty special.
Rather surprisingly for me and Finn, Andreas had already been following my blog before even being contacted by Finn for the remix, and so this was a very nice coincidence.
