Lets talk about that William Basinski box...

How many of you ordered the Disintigration Loops LP/CD/DVD/Book boxset?

Not that interesting if you already have the CDs which I feel is an OK format for these albums. I'd rather spend the little money I spend on records these days on something else. That being said, I am pretty sure the box will sell like hot cakes. But I just bought the Codeine Box set...

it is tempting, but I already have the cd's and for the same money I can buy about 20 other LP's and CD's.

saw this recently on experimedia.  i'd have thought cd was the best format for such long , hypnotic pieces, so as to have full uninterrupted playback.

Depsite having the cd's I purchased a box.
I also got the Codeine boxset too. Which is fantastic!
