SELF PROMOTION / Re: Glass Reservoir
« Last post by muncky on April 09, 2013, 10:39:02 am »
Physical copies of our first release, "Summer in the Box Room" by Benjamin Shaw has largely sold out (a couple of copies left with the rather excellent Norman's Records). Downloads remain unlimited...

The second release, "Social Cognition" by //Fiocz is now available for pre-order. Every pre-order receives a bonus track, "The 25μg Session".

SYNTHESIZERS + SOUND-MAKING HARDWARE / Re: Ciat-Lonbarde Coco...

Thanks for the complement Taylor... appreciate it...

Its basically two digital delays with infinite loop options...You can run one into the other or run them in parallel... You have control of pitch, speed and also location within the sample and direction... You can also have sound on sound...It also has 5 VCO's that you can use to modulate the delays (they can also cross modulate between them as well)... everything has modular inputs and outputs so you can not only patch and modulate between things (like a modular) but also interface with external sources...

Here is the manual but in PeterB fashion its a little esoteric...

I’ll be performing a duo with Ryuichi Sakamoto and giving a talk (about Paik’s music) at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 as part of the “Art and Process”—A Daylong Celebration event, that is included in the programming for the Smithsonian’s Nam June Paik exhibition

My installation, A Bell For Every Minute will be included in "Soundings: A
Contemporary Score," at the Museum of Modern Art, NYC April 10 – November
3, 2013. It’s a group exhibition including work by Luke Fowler, Toshiya

I saw Mono couple weeks ago. Some very sensitive songs, some pretty dull ones, and overall a poor sound on the distorted part ruined the show. Disapointing.
