Hi there

A very interesting granular synthesis freebie for Mac/PC
http://code.google.com/p/soundgrain/
You can draw the grains trajectories in the sound. Sounds very good.

Cheers

Hello

There's a new version (4.2b, Windows & Mac OSX) of Cecilia, a GUI for CSound.

I played a bit with the patches included and it sounds good.
Does anyone know of a good tutorial to make your own scripts with this thing ?

Cheers

Not much more to say. I pay attention to the bass frequencies, cut everything below 40hz and made everything mono under 150 hz.

In the end MPO did the pressing. They are reliable.
The 7" is out, a collaboration btw Sylvain Chauveau & Rainier Lericolais.
Should appeal to some of you!

I sometimes use my Amiga but the last track I did with Protracker was Monoball on
http://www.brocoli.org/release/minizza-music-for-girls

I still use my electric guitar I bought when I was 16 - in 1991 (sic!) and my MIDI keyboard (but some keys are not working anymore, I should change it)

Makes me think I should use my old Sound Canvas SC-55 again !

Software wise, I switched from Samplitude to Reaper, but still use Ableton Live 5 and Jeskola Buzz.

These last days I've been experimenting with whole tone and octatonic scales. Interesting!

Hi

We'd like to release a 7 inch on Brocoli very soon.
Any good pressing plant in Europe to recommend ?

All the best
