Did you ever use the cv input with the Rolls oscillators or anyone else for that matter?

Thanks!

Using a Mac for the most part, sometimes a PC. No problem with the ports when using my backup interface.

MOTU said they were pretty certain the MKIII has some sort of hardware failure. I was concerned because I couldn't find anything on the web about the error message I was getting from the MKIII. I'm sure it will be fixed accordingly.

It's been great, I bought it for the additional ins & outs, and you can use Volta http://www.motu.com/products/software/volta/images/signal-path.jpg/image_view_fullscreen plugin which basically gives you CV control.

I'm just not crazy about about it crapping out this early on.

Oh  well, it will give me some free time to work with the new MFB Urzwerg sequencer I just received.

Anyone had any issues with this firewire/usb interface?

I've had it for about 2 months and all of a sudden having some issues with it making it an expsensive paper weight. Motu is asking me to send it in for a free repair. :'(

I'm just wondering what others experiences have been like.

Anyone here running Adobe Audition on Bootcamp/Windows XP?

I was able to load it ok, but there's a lot of pops/clicks during audio playback.

I have made the usual adjustments that are recommended by most.

STUDIO + RECORDING TECHNIQUES / Re: The Dreaded Ground Loop

Ok I managed to pinpoint the problem. Apparently dimmer switches in older homes can cause similar problems. I switched out the dimmer for a standard one. Everything is cool now, thanks for everyones suggestions!

I apparently have a ground loop problem somewhere in my studio. Anyone had this problem and solved it?  I've heard of a few solutions, but wanted to see how any of you may have worked around it.

thanks!

Regarding the Moog Opus 3:

I own an Opus 3 and just something to watch out for before buying one. The Opus 3 was manufactured with a thin sheet of foam that rests just over the circuit board. Since this beast was produced over 20 years ago and depending on where the owner stored the keyboard, the foam has a tendency to turn into a black sticky goo which can be a major pain to remove from the circuit board as well as creating some sticky pots. Aside from that, I've run across a few non working units that only needed a new fuse to get them going again, which is pretty easy to do yourself.

It's a great machine, heavy as hell though.

Good luck!
