oops, forgot all about this thread, thanks for all the replies!
billy, I'm just looking for an audio drive, nothing fancy.
been taking a short break from the music, so still haven't picked one yet, probably next week.
I've always just used regular, well spec'd drives for this without any problems.
I really need to automate my backup system though, which is (not very) manual at the minute.
I just do occasional backups onto another drive, and backup projects onto dvd when I'm done.
online backups might be something worth looking at too, as long as the internet never burns down or topples over.

wow, some amazing pics there 
I love the UK one, imagine the work that's gone into it, amazing.
some of the some shots of the intersections are straight out of Blade Runner!
whenever I see pics like that of Shanghai, it always feels unreal or from another world.

Waved goodbye to my second Seagate Barracuda drive in 2 months today after it failed again.
Been reading lots of similar tales on the net too. All very frustrating.
Any recommendations for a decent internal audio drive? Quiet, 32mb buffer, 7200rpm etc.

I sold a Lemon Jelly LP on Discogs for 100Eur recently, bought on a whim when I once worked in Tower. 
A lot of vinyl releases keep their price quite well as they're limited.
I've been selling off a good chunk of stuff the past year or so, but only stuff I don't have much time for anymore, there's a core collection of things I'd never sell unless really desperate.
He's got some nice things on there, might get some sneaky bids in.
Looks like he's raided his little sister's cd collection too for some extra funds. Good man!

btw, a little typo on line 20 of your Snow (Dusk, Dawn) release page, Deupree is spelled with a small d.
