Player looks good!
I'm building a very small analog modular system, but not as something to replace my Nord.
The great thing about modular is being able to design a system unique to ones needs, with a versatility that all the small analog monosynths on the market can't offer. And eurorack, if you don't get out of control, can actually be quite small and economical in terms of space. Plus there are so many cool companies right now doing amazing creative things in with eurorack.
The Nord of course has everything in the box and lets you do things like instant polyphony and lets one use multiple instances of obscure modules that no one would ever put in a real system. But I think it should be thought of as the versatile digital synth that it is and not something that stands-in for an analog system.
