THE FUTURE OF THE MUSIC BUSINESS / Re: Airborne

Exactly, although that might work for pop artists which are under pressure to publish anyway. For "us" it's a rather useless instrument.

Hey Sam
I don't like this idea. That's excatly what Charlie said, it's like paying the gas bill. In my opinion, those who really appreciate what we do will buy our music (except if we give it for free anyway), and those who simply consume it will download it illegally. I don't think this obligation of a monthly bill will be appreciated by either the artist or the costumer. It makes music a bit too much like "serious capitalist business" (sorry for that expression) and I don't like that. Keep it honest, pay what you wanna hear and that's easy in the conservative way.
Me, as both listener and artist, don't feel like paying anyone 2 dollars a month for his art. And as an artist, it feels like beggin for your monthly salary.

Wow, I like yours too, Charlie. You got that cold distance in it, which I love so much.

Polaroid is very expensive.. you need to consider very well which shots to take..

I pay like 30 Swiss francs for 8 pictures, which is around 38 dollars.

thank you charlie, it means a lot to me.

You're welcome. They're really cool photos. The colours and textures are top notch. Very subtle and dreamy. What type of camera did you use to take them? They look like film but it's difficult to tell these days.

Haha.. it's actually a polaroid AF with the new Impossible Project films. they're not edited. but I also take film photos with an old Nikon. I will post them here, maybe in the next few days.

love it! but after half a year, it's a pity that the interface doesn't show us how long the edited track has already been looped..

David Wenngren & Christopher Bissonnette's new Album The Meridians... is a masterpiece in my opinion. I love the field recordings and I don't have a clue where they're from.. It just sounds beautiful and elegant.
