150$? That's WAY less than I expected.. thank you very much for the links! :)

And do I need to know anything more? Does it work on only my Zoom H4n as portable recorder device?

I suggest: pre-warm a towel, take the polaroid and put it into the towel immediately (that only works if it's not too cool outside or if your motive is not too far away from home or another warm place).

Marc Copland - Poetic Motion

(I really like this thing.. although it's totally off 12k topic / well, the roots are either :))

Hi Puggo

I got the exactly same problem again around eight months ago. the colour films of IP just went blue, and blue and blue. they seem to have a new film out though, for 600 cameras. Me, I have a 600 camera and as you see above, it's actually not too bad what they do. The only trouble you'll have: You can't take photos outside if you don't have the possibility to have them in a completely dark drawer or something. In addition, the temperature plays a big part in how the photo is going to be.. warm = brighter colours, cold = blue and if you're unlucky only blue.

That one should work with your 600's. But I don't know how it's with the SX70's. Let me know more about your efforts.

I just took the sound with a small rode microphone.. how did you guys do that with the amplification? can someone explain that, I'm not sure how to do that (although it might be self-explaining, sorry)

Fantastic. They're all very moody and atmospheric. I particular like the first one and the last two. Simple but cool.

Thank you. most of them are from norway, the cupboard with the cool handwriting on it is from amsterdam.

On the subject of polaroids, yes, I'd noticed how cheap the cameras actually go for in comparison to the paper. Ironic really, isn't it? You would think someone might have come up with a way to do it more cheaply but obviously not. Maybe having a look around on eBay or in thrift shops could save a bit of money.

That's kind of stupid yes. Well, but that's how post-liberalism works, they have the monopole, so they can demand that price and people who appreciate this technique need to pay it.

Maybe, but by today you can easily make digital "polaroids". It's not original then, but it almost looks allike. What you don't have is that art by chance effect and the cool physical appearance, though.

Hey, someone should develop an idea how to digitally get that "surprise effect" in a polaroid way haha :)

Diatribes - Mémoires Disséquées/Dissected Memories
"Avant-garde Free Jazz". Diatribes features D'Incise and lies somewhere between electro-acoustic, drum driven free jazz and woodwind-melodies. Sounds like a mess.. but it's wonderful music.

Thanks. Glad you like them.

they are gorgeous.

$38 for 8 pictures. Blimey. That really is quite steep. I'll have to stick with the faithful DSLR and the Holga for the time being, unfortunately.

Yes, but I don't know how much it costs at your place.. the positive thing about it: the cameras are almost for free (on ebay, etc.). I got myself a 25 years old analogue and I get 36 pictures for like 25 dollars.. which is affordable.

I'll be back in a few mins to upload the analogues (not polaroids) as well.

Taylor Deupree + Marcus Fischer - In a Place of such Graceful Shapes
Charalambides - Exile
David Wenngren + Christopher Bissonnette - (I won't spell the name of the album.. horribly long name)
