maybe you could download GRM tools. There is a freeze program in it, I suppose. It's a VST. Look if it's free or not, I'm not sure but you can do extreme stuff. If you use audiomulch, there are some freezing presets in it as well. You just need to try the bassline input and experiment a bit with it.
Otherwise I could warmly recommend GRM.

And there's something like that: http://hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/
It stretches up to 50 times.

Pantha du Prince - This Bliss. A masterpiece, kind of experimental minimal techno. not that stuff we know from clubs..

COMPUTER MUSIC / Randomizer
« on: January 26, 2011, 01:18:00 pm »
Hello together,
does anyone have a clue about random music creation software? anyone knows a good freeware or otherwise an affordable software to buy?
I would like it best as a vst plugin to cubase. To edit a track and to randomize the given (either) notes (or samples).
Is there any solution for a steprandomizer just like the sound matrix on the web?
Thank you!!
Marc

Hi,

One question: is it possible on the jamman to enter the correct amount of BPM? because I always have trouble with my BOSS because I can't feed it with the exact BPM number. I mean something like a digital display to clearly set BPM to a certain level.
Thanks :)

Marc

How do you guys think about combining the Sony recorder recommended by Stephen with the Rode NT4? both look brilliant to me. Thanks ;)

Thank you very much Stephen.
This recommandation is very useful to me.

By the way - I love your album with Molly Berg ;)
so this advice is from the right person.
Thanks

Sorry for the very late answer. Thanks for the advices.
Well my budget is about 1500 dollar including both the mic and a recorder (since the H2 wouldn't get me those clean recordings)

I own a Zoom H2 and i would like to add a good field recording microphone to it to get some clean recordings on the zoom. Anyone could help? Thank you!
