I have been thinking about buying myself a h4n myself, and if h2 is on your budget, then I would strongly consider going for the h4n. It is really not that difference in prices. (at least not here in Norway)

You can just load in a silent .wav file. say like 4 bars of 120. then you know it will be in sync.

Yes it is max/msp.
A patch made by tehn/Brian Crabtree, the maker of the monome.
It will(as all his, and many others patches) be available for download and modification.
Here is most of the apps made for the monome, the last 5 years:

The monome community is the best community I have ever seen, so I can't do anything but to look forward to all the great apps that will be available.
I will definitly get one, but I might have to wait a while.

if they can't pay. take their computers.
as for "checking out" it would be the labels job to either put previews on their site like 12k does, or just get things up on spotify or something similar.
yes of course i am just dreaming but if you don't pay, you don't deserve the music.

but yeah, you keep your reverbs in stereo, anything else in particular?
I have always found the image of one really wide instrument nice. Like f.ex. a synthbass or guitar panned hard left and right and delayed one of them like 13ms. or a really big pad. This of course minimize the space for other instruments though.

allright. was hoping that maybe the single jack inpu was stereo =) that's a bummer when you want it either after a stereoeffect or simply using it with a stereosource. but i guess that's how it is with guitarpedals.
i never manage to decide what pedals i schould put on the board i use with my guitar bofre it goes into the laptop or on a channel after the laptop anyways so...
